It is 4.9cm in width, and with my wrist bones, it's 6cm in width, and the watch fits properly there, and the crown doesn't punch into my hand's skin even when my arm and hand are in L shape. It's comfortable. The diameter of the window frame is 4.2cm. With the crown, it becomes 4.7cm. Because the crown bulging is only the section towards my hand, and not all around the watch, the watch doesn't look too big at all on my small wrist. The watch came with extra joints & was too loose. I took it to a shop which took out 2 joints and it fit my thin wrist. Hair: I have hair but I'm not a hairy person. So far, I counted 3 accounts of my hairs being pulled out by the watch. Very sad :(Amazon was kind enough to offer me a refund on whatever it costs for a local shop to clean the dust out. update: shipped the watch to Citizen and they took care of the blemish described above, free of charge. Turns out it was not a spec of dust but paint that had accidentally landed on the face of the watch during the manufacturing process. Amazon paid for the reimbursed the shipping that i paid to have the watch shipped to Citizen. The black and steel brushed look is great and I've already many compliments on the look of this watch. My only complaint is that I wish the three smaller dials were more functional. My previous Citizens watch displayed month, day of the week, and had different time zone settings. This one does not do that and oddly one of the smaller dials is actually the second hand. Took a bit getting used to but I'm okay with it now. But really the look of this watch makes up for that. Plus I'm a huge citizen eco fan, because of the solar powered feature. I've had my previous watch for 7 years without any problems. Great watch overall. |
