This is my second one, and the only reason I bought a new one is because the pins in my last one got worn out. had that one for over 7 years, and because of the Eco-drive, never had to change a battery. I bought this watch before coming back to Iraq as a contractor. I'm a mechanic and wear it every day and haven't had any problems. I did notice that after scratching the black band, it reveals the silver metal underneath, but hey, I abuse it. The watch IS "WATER RESISTANT", which means that you can wear it to shower, wash your face,and LIGHT swimming. I've done all that with this watch. The hands are not properly Luminous, they glow for 10 minutes after being in intense light. The strap is coated after assembly, leaving the faces between segments uncoated.
