I have never had a problem with it. I do not take it off. So, it goes in the shower with me and any place else. I am hard on watches. The Crystal is scratch resistant and still has no scratches that are noticable. The band takes the brunt of my abuse. It has a lot of scratches but again hardly noticable. I put the watch in the sunlight the first day I received it and it has never stopped since. The band seamlessly flows together with the casing around the watch giving it a distinctive look. I first set it within a few seconds of the time shown at nist.time.gov and it has neither gained nor lost time since then. The Eco-Drive feature is the topper. Never having to worry about a dead battery or the hassle of buy or replacing one. My only complaint, and it is a very minor one, is that Citizens should not have made the glow-in-the-dark mark at 12:00 the same size as marks at 3, 6 and 9. When looking at the watch in the dark, if you do not recall how you orientated the watch when you put it down, you can't tell which mark is 12:00 and you have to touch it to find the stem to tell the proper time.
