This past Christmas my wife surprised me with this one. It's a beautiful watch! It keeps great time. I know that "Time" is determined by local/state and national governments. Still I thought the watch would be programed to national standards. It is not. For those who have never owned this type watch, let me just advise you that it is the most complicated setup you have ever seen! There is no "pull out the crown and spin the dial back or forward for one hour" routine. In fact, you should probably go to the Citizen website and view the setting instructions for the watch you intend to purchase. As I said, the watch keeps great time. But you will have to go through a portion of the watch setting ritual twice a year. I expected to set it once and never have to touch it again. Guess it was my wrong assumption (the perpetual calendar part worked perfectly this year), but I'm disappointed that it doesn't adjust... From the time I opened the box, I could tell from the look and feel that it was a high quality watch. Thus far it has kept perfect time. I initially set the watch with an atomic clock that we have and is of known accuracy. Every time I check the watch against this clock, it is right to the second with the clock. The setting instructions that came with the watch could have been written a little more clearly and it did take a while to master the set up.
