It is very light, causing me to oftentimes look at the wall clock to see what time it is, as I forget that I have it on. The case is rather wide at 43mm, but the size results in a dial that is large enough to easily read, yet does not feel uncomfortable on my wrist. It is Eco Drive, so I don't have to worry about replacing batteries, or keeping it wound. It also has a sapphire crystal, and after several rather hard accidental blows, the crystal shows absolutely no scratches. I work in the medical field, and it undergoes about a hundred washings with rather strong antibacterial soap each day, and shows no ill effects from this abuse. I bought this watch as a 'beater', but it has really started to grow on me, and I now take rather good care of it, as I really wouldn't want to be without it. (I myself am a big fan and a regular customer of Amazon.com)The watch dial is grey in color. The tone is a little bit darker than the strap color and looks sophisticated. The watch goes well with either suits or casual wear. The sapphire crystal will ensure that you won't get any scratch marks on the display. Since titanium is used in the construction of this watch, it is more sturdy than stainless steel without the weight disadvantage. Also, titanium band looks a little silvery in color compared to the brushed look of stainless steel. I prefer this look (this may vary with your taste). The watch is eco-drive which means you never have to be worried about the watch dying on you, whether you are in your office or mountain climbing. The straps that come on the watch are a bit long so you might have to get one... With the addition of radio controlled, perpetual calendar and automatic daylight saving time features, this watch would be all that I could ask for. The price would likely double, though. |
